Lets see now....a diameter of 4600 meters eh....that means a radius of 2300 meters. If we use an average thickness of 2.5 meters and a density of 2.5, and calcultate the area as (pi)(radius)(radius)=3.14 x 2300m x 2300m x 2.5m x 2.5tonnes/cubic meter=103 million tonnes.....nice to see the sceptic, jspec, has finally come around from the posts from last November and December which also called for this amount of tonnage.
