Bush is copying Kerry's Iraq-UN stance now. Krauthammer is a Bushie who doesn't want to pacify Iraq I guess, wants us to continue going it alone and taking all the casualties, creating thousands of new terrorists and bearing the hundreds of billions in new deficit spending it costs. But I guess he hadn't heard that Cheney-Bush now realise their only hope of getting out of the quagmire is following Kerry's smart and well thought-out lead.

BTW: Demonizing France is and was counter-proiductive to US interests. In retrospect, the French were right. Cheney-Bush were indeed lying about WMD's and didn't want to share any oil revenues, not with France or anyone else, including the American tax-payers footing the huge bill.

Government for big oil by big oil if exactly what Cheney-Bush are all about. All the demonizing of the Un and France is just a smoke-screen for the real tipoff artists to get away with it. Where are all those Iraqi oil revenues Bush boasted about at his press conference? And where are the oil revenues Sean Hannity promised his listeners would completely pay for the war? No a single drop of oil. All a big-bad scam.
