As of 2/6/98, DGIV stated: "Digitcom currently has approximately 16 million shares issued with 5 million of the total being traded by the public." So it looks like a 5 million share float. Some shorts no doubt had helped to drive the price down (see chart at: cbs.marketwatch.com but, once the company's success became apparent, those same shorts are now driving the price of the stock up.
