An interesting detail is that the spike for Apple, which has occurred with each new iPhone release, is notably smaller in magnitude this time around. That doesn't mean it won't accelerate in October, but for the moment, it's less of a boost than seen in the past. The typical pattern is that whatever spike occurs wanes after about a quarter, but that too could follow a different path this time.
