Stopped into the new Apple store in our area to try to get a feel for which of the new iPhones I might pick up. It was a busy but not packed. I liked the feel of both phones but the 6 is too big for me for 1 handed use for some things. When I upgrade, it will be interesting to see how I lean. I can see the 6 plus cannabalizing mini sales for some but maybe people will upgrade to a full size iPad. But I can see people with purses going with the 6 and maybe carrying a Mini in the purse. It will be interesting to see how Apple upgrades the iPad line with this in mind. Not that Apple had a choice, but maybe the product lines are not as distinct as they were 2 years ago. Probably doesn't matter short term. Longer term, it will be interesting to see how things actually shake out.

Interesting comment from one of the salespeople we have talked with. It seems that after the initial rush for the 6 plus, the 6 has become the more popular phone. Maybe the big rush for the 6 was people upgrading to larger phones and the ones who wanted something with a more similar size to the present phones could wait until some of the launch lunacy died down.

Good luck out there.
