Over my lifetime I have met a lot of people. I've been to 80 countries, lived in eight states and have never settled down. And I don't have time to do this, I just do it because I am very-very angry and concerned about the energy scandals, corruption and callousness of the B-C ticket. I will do whatever I can to make people aware of the truth behind the facades and photo ops. A lot of people are complacent and sometimes I am too but not at the moment. Last time I did this was after the Exxon Valdez spill. There were a lot of like-minded people who got together and made a difference. From both parties. I was just a foot soldier but we got Dolphin safe tuna passed, driftnet restrictions, double-hulled tankers, cleaner ocean and air standards. A lot of improvements. The environment is still eroding fast but we can keep degradation to a minimum if we all do our part. Shocking news I read that Alaska is now over-fished and declared a disaster area. These type of things are going to be more and more common. And it's no wonder fights are breaking out over water rights, etc. We must be very-very careful about conservation or future generations will really suffer. Just a shame but then again it's not a perfect world. Population control would be the best bet but when the Catholic church says no condoms in Africa that doesn't help. Also kills people spreading AIDS. I think Ted Turner was a real hero for giving a billion bucks to the UN Population program. Compare than to cheney giving nothing to charity. Just too many people in the world, friends, and cars and wasteful energy-burning. We can all do with less. We have no choice actually. Teach your children well. They're going to need it.
