Its not pure demagoguery, its the truth. And its not just happening with this war. Where was Bush during Vietnam? In the Air Nat. Guard and AWOL. Where was Cheney? "Busy"......his words not mine. And its not just the GOP....many Dem leaders are no better.

And your point is? Let's see: How about we take the graduating class of every law school, and replace our professional army with these guys. I am all for it. At least there would not have to be any mourning when there are casualties (I am kidding).

The rich were given a discount when the gov't is short of funds. Please tell me the logic in that one!

The US government has been "short of funds" most of the last 60 years. As far as the "discount", is your assumption that it all belongs to government, and when you get to keep more, you are getting a discount?

In this sense, the rich by income (excluding Ariana Huffington and Kennedys), have the lowest discount, others have a discount of 100%, meaning some are not paying any income taxes. Tell me logic in giving some a free pass when the government is short of funds.
