How many known instances of fires were caused by Li-Ion batteries used with Dell laptops? I read something like 6.

Dell should have reported how many laptops were sold in all regions and how many batteries were made in Japan and included in the table for the recall. The public sees the headline and thinks almost all of Dell batteries are being recalled. The public has no information about how many were made in Taiwan, for instance, or China.
