Long term stockholders of Adtran have experienced this rollercoaster ride several times. History shows that the stock gets volatile at earnings time. Whether earnings are an upside surprise or negative, the stock always gets sold off. As long as fundamentals are good and outlook is positive, it's another great buying opportunity. You get your best bargains when you shop the "drastically reduced" fire sales! Adtran was mentioned 1/14/97 at website Briefing.com by CharterMedia. They were surprised the stock didn't get upward move from earnings report. They also mentioned that the stock was considered a "value play" by many analyst. Another source that gave positive mention to ADTRAN yesterday was the Professional Investor Report. Adtran is rated a 1.0 which is the most favorable buy rating from a consensus of analyst. I hold the stock & bought more today. I'll also take some dramamine.
