Joco the San Diego stock report got here tonight and here is what Bud said: " The perplexing insider selling does not change our feeling that these shares are a bargain at 2 dollars" He was refering to : "D. Katz Pr which sold 54,416 shares at 2.50 in Feb 12-14. he currently holds 1,027,003 shares." Well with the market tanking since last week of Jan and interest rates going up he probably just got some cash out... but nobody knows.. if he was really distressed you would think he'd sell more and other insiders would sell as well.. like Ken Olson who is no dummy.. So one guy sold.. 5% of his shares...thats what we know. In another section Bud said "The sale of 54k shares by LIDAK president D. Katz in mid Feb almost assuredly has nothing to do with the company LYDAKOL announcementin July." Bud ranks LIDAK 86 which is a "speculative Buy". CLINICAL UPDATE SHOWS LIDAK IS PHASE III FOR HERPES AND PHASE III FOR ORAL HERPES TRIAL DUE JUL 97. LIDAK LP2307 IN PHASE I/II IN PROCESS NO DATE SHOWN. My own take in this is that if there was trouble we would see more insiders a large holders selling the gentle retrace is been the lack of participation in the market. The market is extremelly negative. In my experience if I park my cash it would simple find its way to another stock and never revisit this one so I will consider staying with the trade because It has such a short horizon...we could see upside when the market turns up or news leak out.. but I will keep a very close eye on the technicals..just the same. I wish there was more information to report but that's all I got.. every trade is a test... good luck luis
