Antiwar and ostrich just aren't synonymous

Everybody is "antiwar" in the sense that everyone realizes war is hell. Nobody wants it.

But the difference between "everybody" and the "antiwar" crowd is that the antiwar crowd doesn't just think war is hell; they also think it is never necessary.

The so-called "pro-war" crowd knows that sometimes it is necessary to fight back, and that the sooner the necessity is recognized, the less hell we all have to go through.
