I read the URL you posted. What an example of self-delusion. Do you also believe (as the christian church taught for centuries out of ignorance and fear of losing power) that the earth is flat, that the earth is the center of the universe, that all things -- including the sun and the planets -- revolve around earth? If your answer is no, that is only because you live in the 20th century. If you had lived 500 years ago you would've said yes, and pointed out scripture to "prove" it.

As far as scientific issues, the bible has massive mistakes in it because it was written by ignorant men, not an omniscient god.
