It is the closest the White House has come to an admission that its plans for reconstruction in those countries have proved insufficient, and that it was unprepared for the guerrilla-style attacks that have become more frequent in Iraq.

This kind of commentary, which doesn't follow from the facts, is what made the NYT famous.


That's right.....all the news services are reporting that the WH is reorganizing how Afghanistan and Iraq will be administered and managed, and all you get out of it is that the NYT is playing with you and not speaking the truth because they see the administration's shakeup as an admission that things are not going well in those countries. A FACT that seems to surprise no one but you.

I take it that English comprehension was not your strong suit.
