Just for fun, but I am probably dooming the Gulf states by even bringing this up :-)

Hurricane season is upon us and 73 days in we have had 0 hurricanes - thats right zero. We have had only 3 Tropical storms so far.

How do we compare last years events (caused by Bush's policies and neglect of Kyoto)?

2005 2006
June 2 TS 0 H 1 TS 0 H
July 3 TS 2 H 1 TS 0 H
Aug 3 TS 2 H 1 TS 0 H (so far)

At this point in August 2005 we had 1 TS and 1 H. So for the year to date totals:

2005
8 TS and 4 H

2006
3 TS and 0 H

Well this brings up a big issue for November - since Bush caused everything bad the last few years and if this season remains mild - can he take credit for changing the weather?
