Karen said, That it would be illegal for anyone in certain positions including herself to be trading anytime from Dec until 3 days after the earnings announcement. She said she couldn't say they definitely were not, but if they were there would definitely be an investigation and they would be in trouble and to her knowledge no one was. She also went on to say that ampex has NOOOOO idea what drives the market on ampex stock prices because no information has ever come from ampex when the stock price has surged ahead or dropped down. Karen gave me a very good feeling about ampex's future, but she seemed to be pleading her case, I guess because so many people had called that day.
