Dwight,

<<"The Street" apparently doesn't like this deal.>>

Fortunately "The Street" has no affect on long term fundamental financial performance which in the long run is the only thing that correlates to stock performance. The fact that a bunch of technophobes on WS may not like the deal is somewhat reassuring IMO. These are the same guys who to this day can't figure out the difference between a leading edge growth semi company like INTC and a cyclical commodity chip producer like MU. They continue to afford MU and LSI P/E's that are nearly double that of INTC.

As for your vote being meaningless you shouldn't equate that as an endorsement not to vote. I never implied such a thing. I think everyone who is eligible to vote in any election should do so. I am just stating the obvious as to the outcome. And no I do not have inside information but I do have common sense.

BTW, you should have said Casey and all the other execs that agreed to the deal will be voting yes. Also most big investors will trust that Casey knows more about USR's business than they do and most big investors aren't day traders. The idea that a group of people that are upset with the deal soley because it has hurt the stock price and/or because some prarasitic analysts may not like the deal can block it by voting NO is simply naive IMO. Again, I want to stress that everyone should vote what they feel is in their best interest.
