Well, I guess it makes sense to have him here, where I can rest, but he is too little to fly by himself. I would never dream of putting a four year old on a plane by himself. But, maybe Chris could take a day off, and we could drive to Durham and get him, and bring him here for a while. I will talk about that with Chris and then if he thinks it is a good idea, discuss it with my father. I do prefer sleeping in my own bed, and eating my own cooking, and stuff like that.

This is kind of a chaotic environment, we need a bigger house or for my mother to move out, she has about 1/3 of the living space all to herself. But, it's home. I have set it up to suit me, pretty much. I wish I had room to put a good reading chair with a table next to it and a reading lamp and bookcases. If my mother actually moves out, or if we get a bigger house (we're looking) I intend to fix up just such an arrangement, maybe for two or even four reading chairs, a reading room! Right now we have the big-screen TV and the stereo and the reading lamps and the two sofas and several bookcases and the coffee table all squeezed into one room, and the kid's computer is on a desk in the dining room, and my desk, bookcases and filing cabinets are in my bedroom, and we are just really squeezed for space. The kid's room is so cramped that they are still sleeping in bunkbeds, and Ben is 5'9". Ben wanted a piano, and I told him he could have one when my mother moved out. That was several years ago, I think he has given up.

So, I am not sure where we would put my little brother, but hey, the more the merrier!
