And which version of the bible are you taking that quote from? You know it is only one of thousands of similar, yet dissimilar versions.

So many examples of dissimilarity occur throughout the OT and NT that you'd need a scorecard as big as New Jersey to keep track.

For example, most modern day christian preachers refer to the bread from heaven that god supposedly fed the hebrews with during their 40 years in the desert -- yet the original translation of the hebrew word, "Manna" is not bread, but literally, "What is it?"
