The members of the press who are complaining about not being in the West Wing while it undergoes a renovation, are serious whiners. Milbank uses phrases like: >>>banished from the WH >>>to deepen the isolation then he says: Bush has traveled out of the Washington area at least seven times this year without a press plane, including four times in the past month to fundraisers closed to the press. This development, devised by a secretive White House and enabled by cash-strapped media outlets, has helped Bush to stage a series of father-protector photo ops with few of those pesky questions that reporters tend to ask. I'd ask of Milbank: At least 7 times, eh? Do you think Bush was trying to save the taxpayers money, or who pays for a press plane? Have fundraisers EVER been open to the press....All fundraisers, Dem and Repub... "Cash strapped media outlets".............HEhEheheH I suppose that is Bush's fault to.... Could that just be the fault of the particular Media Outlet????? "Father-protector" photos ops... DOESN'T THAT SAY IT ALL????
