William--thanks for the link. This is tough to call even though Office is going generate a huge amount of cash. 1st scenario: Could Maffei CFO--want to announce a eps surprise because he doesn't want it to happen close to the resumption of the trial. That way, their earnings don't stand out. 2nd scenario MSFT loses out a lot in giving free upgrades to all who purchase Office now. The later they release, the more revenue MSFT loses. Or maybe the PC is slowing down a lot. Why would they want to talk about it now when they plan to be on target for the quarter (i think) 3rd scenario I give up---I don't have a clue---confused. Lots of Luck to MSFT longs.
