thanks again, pat, for going straight to the sources to clear up the 'tale of two DSPs'. i agree that USRX has a long road to walk. remember what the Alcatel prod. mgr. said at N+I about Motorola taking on more than they could handle by trying to integrate so many functions into the single-chip CopperGold? USRX is doing the same thing, only in software. AMTX has a head-start, the expertise, a better chip, and aren't hampered by CAP or backward-compatibility with 56kbps.
