WJ, I understood what you meant. I hope we see a write-up in a newsletter soon. We need something to flood the lousy MM's with orders.
Tell me if this hypothesis seems too paranoid... Yesterday morning the MM's were faced with a bunch of buy orders in the morning. For whatever reason there may be, they delayed the open while holding the spread at 2 x 2 1/16. They waited for folks to cancel their orders due to the lack of an increase in the bid or ask so they could keep this thing a sleeper.
Realistically, Tuesday's increase in price coupled with the volume would have attracted some interest. More interest than a measley 35,000 shares at 10AM. Also, the name Bio-Reference Labs sounds nice, is cheap, earnings are increasing, and should be moving along with the other micros.
