Plus the efficiency of the PowerPC as a RISC CPU , soon a "MPU"

Silent on its RISC features , AAPL calls IBM's new 400 mz PowerPC 750 CPU their G3 MPU .

RISC (reduced instruction set computer) processing played a part in AAPL's twofold file copy efficiency over NT while using AAPL's PowewrPC "optimized" netware OS .

IBM's cache-less PowerPC 740 could be teamed with IBM's new mini-disk in portable (telephone, set-top TV, AMP) and NC devices .

For IBM's explanation of RISC and the PowerPC:

AAPL's G3 400mz MPU designation sounds like AAPL's rumored SMP server was awaiting that chip .
