The senate passed a short term funding bill that expires Wednesday.
Yes, but has obama signed it? If not the government should be shut down.

Why hasn't the government been unfunded since Thursday.?

The House squeaked through a $1.1 trillion bill Thursday night with only hours to spare before a midnight deadline that would have shut down the government.

How could the house, by itself, avert the shut down? Doesn't th bill need to be passed by the senate and signed in order to avoid the shut down?
