IDTC is currently trading options on Philly
and Chicago exchange. They are on NASDAQ.

Why would AMEX begin trading options on them?...TIA

NEW YORK, Jan 3, 2000 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- The American Stock Exchange plans to start trading options on the Nasdaq National Market-listed stocks of Altera Corporation, IDT Corp., PairGain Technologies, Inc. and on the New York Stock Exchange-listed stocks of Abercrombie & Fitch Co., Delta and Pine Land Company, and SBC Communications, Inc. on Thursday, January 6, 2000.
