Iraq is very much more like Vietnam. We citizens sacrifice nothing as Bush gives us tax cuts in a "guns AND butter" program much like LBJ's, financed through deficits. There's no shared sacrifice in this war. In WW II, taxes were RAISED to pay for it.

We're there to forward deploy on the oil, not to "bring the Iraqis freedom". Get real.
