Christine,
Logic is another word for existing in the futility of our own mind. How possible is it you can understand the mind of God and what He has done. Not possible at all. We live in a universe that promotes the idea that their must be a beginning and an end but that is only our universe. God has always been, He did not have a beginning. He will always be, forever with no end. These are concepts difficult to grasp when everything we see teaches everything begins and ends. There is no need to create God, He has always existed. Do you reject that thought because it doesn't fit your small experience? And I really am not being insulting because mine is equally limited, I just recognize that it is and to fully grasp God is beyond me (and you).

I don't know about your web site. I don't know who put it together or why and what concepts they want to discredit or why. There is a tremendous amount of disinformation put out these days concerning all manner of things. Hawking didn't write what's in that web site but I know what he wrote in his book and he said what he did very plainly. I can see why the unbelieving would be uncomfortable with a person of such intelligence saying the universe could not have happened randomly, that it is mathematically impossible. A statement like that could not go unanswered.

Lets go back to question #1. No other question needs to be answered until you can answer this one. Where did the matter that makes up the universe come from if it was not created by God? From nothing came the universe. How? If you can't answer that then everything you believe is an act of faith and not reason as you claim.
