Ted, Its a lot more than just the budget.........we had the longest peacetime eco. expansion since WW II; the unemployment rate was the lowest it had been in decades; his fiscal mgmt allowed interest rates to drop to their lowest level in years; his administration made the biggest dent in the welfare roles ever; he got passed some of the most progressive environmental legislative since Teddy Roosevelt..........the list goes on. His was a good presidency. About the only two victories for liberalism under Clinton's watch were the environment (which didn't amount to much, but what many liberals cite as baby steps in the right direction) and minorities filling key White House positions. Most of his other accomplishments were that of a moderate conservative. Think about this: What would have happened to the budget had Hillary-care been enacted in 1993? Tenchusatsu
