Wow.. that's quite a response.. Sorry my allocated computer time doesn't permit to respond more fully.

But on this point..

I think that homosexual men, not women, might even be better than regular heterosexual guys in military services in the modern world.

Hmm... Yearning for the days of the Spartans, eh??

We'll, that was a society that was bred, trained, and existed, for the purpose of being warriors. That weren't very well-rounded when it came to non-military affairs.

But here's my point. Even if I have a "live and let live" mindset, I'm not particularly partial to thought of having to live in close quarters with someone of the same sex who might find me sexually attractive. I just don't swing that way...

And in the military, where there are community showers, common living bays, etc, etc..., yet separation between male and female sexes, permitting a "third sex" to enter into the equation created a discriminatory (as well as uncomfortable) environment for one and all...

Face it... if I tried to shower in the female shower as a soldier, I'd be up on charges so quick it'd make my head spin (and it takes a lot to do that anymore since I can sleep through a mortar barrage)..

Yet, soldiers are NOW expected to shower with someone of the "third sex"..

That's discrimination...
