So there is a lot to learn from that table, unless you are one of those who think that bear-markets have been repealed!

If LSI hasn't been a bear market for the past three years, I don't what it has seen. We have seen the worst performing semi market ever, and LSI is essentially at one half the price that it was three and one half years ago. Still, LSI has outperformed your darlings over the past eight years despite the fact that your darlings have been in a bull market, and LSI has been in a bear market half of that time.

So obviously, I don't think that bear markets have been repealed. By contrast, you have been truly frightened by the bear market in the semis to the extent that you are substantially unloading your LSI position during the early stages of what is almost certainly a long-term recovery. Thus, not only are you guilty of looking twenty five years back, and incorrectly deriving history's lessons; you are equally guilty of looking back three years and misapplying history's lessons.

What will the charts to which I referred look like in two years. It will show LSI with a 3000% growth over the past 100 months, and at best your top pick with a 700% growth.
