No, you really don't have to. You can do like Jay Rockefeller, and the rest of the liberals, and basically hope for a major disaster in Iraq -- which will enable them to get in power.

If you think Howard Dean or John Kerry or Dennis Kucinch or Hillary or Bill or any of the others (save for Lieberman) are "praying" for things to go well in Iraq, you're more naive than I thought. These people are Democrats first, Americans last.
