I don't think you are following my issue here. It is specifically the volitility value I am concerned with. Google is not volitile now, they are not public. They will not be overly volitile in a year after IPO either. But the time in between, what will we have then? Fortunately with a dutch auction scenario you won't have the swings of a typical NSCP type IPO (we hope).

Etrade used to have the black scholes numbers on their options pages but they seemed to have removed them.
