Speech is violence, a knife attack, not so much.

Functioning in life demands that we assume certain things to be true such as:

Speech is non-violence. If our assumptions are wrong we cease to function optimally or at all.

Men are women and vice versa
diversity is good but white people are evil
healthcare is a right
carbon, the basis for life is bad for the planet....

It is an all out assault to keep people off balance. Liberals are so angry because they have never been "in-balance"
