"This would work very well for audio or video, as long as it does not need to be realtime." (versus less-than-realtime?)

Please explain.


If the data being sent were a movie, it would not matter to you that what you were watching was 1 or 2 seconds delayed behind the sender's transmission. If, however, you were in a video conference with someone, then the delay would show up at every change in the direction of the data flow. This delay would be extremely annoying and I think not tolerated.

I hope that clears it up.
