The unanswered question remains: How often are online system trade transaction errors falsely attributed to customer error? It's probably less than 1%--probably less than 0.1%. I don't know but I imagine the online brokerages do. They ain't telling. Just think how much money customers are losing because of this. My guess is millions, maybe tens of millions of dollars each year. Smells like a civil suit to me.
