Do you really think that the US should be some worldwide moral enforcer? If we can't build a consensus among our allies, just maybe there is something wrong with our <leaders> logic. Maybe, just maybe, we should have second thoughts about a military invasion and occupation, if the rest of the world disagrees?

If we can build consensus among our allies maybe there is still something wrong with our leaders logic. If we can not maybe there is nothing wrong with the logic.

Logic is not something that can be played with as easily as your statements above suggest. Furthermore, the failure to build consensus among our allies suggests that their experience with our enemies as well as the Muslim/Arab world does not jive with the actions we are/were proposing to undertake. Instead of scorn, that should be enough to cause us to pause and reconsider.

Furthermore, the allies in question have considerably more experience with the ME than we do. Their histories are much more intertwined. We really need to pay more attention. By not doing so, this administration clearly shows its inexperience and now runs the risk of dangerous incompetency.
