I watched a movie called "The Timber", which supposedly was set during the Alaska Gold Rush. One of the first scenes showed "Jeff Smith's Parlor" in the background in Skagway, but most of the movie depicted people wading through deep snow to no apparent purpose. I was curious about the setting because the terrain and forest cover wasn't consistent with what I know first hand about Skagway and the Yukon. Turns out, filming took place in the Carpathian Mountains in Romania and at the Media Pro Studios in Bucharest.

You can watch the movie on Youtube if you're curious, but you'll be disappointed as I was.
