Several month back I cut the cord and set up my OTA antenna. Seems i can get major locals and 50 to 60 other sub channels. On the subs most of the cable shows I ever watched were available. I tried numerous tuners found the best for me was the $24 mediasonic atsc. It truned out to be the most sensitive tuner and has a manual single channel search that allow trying to tune and moving the antenna.

But the problem with OTA content is the length of commercial breaks. I tried using a firestick and found several streaming apps with movies and TV shows. Found decades old series that I liked then and are new to me streaming now.

I also found a some I had never seen. Fringe, Earth Final Conflict, Andromeda, Monarch of the Glenn

And a hilarious comedy Corner Gas. And on the free streaming services the commercials are
mostly 15 to 30 seconds and a few go over a minute.
Currently using Freevee Tubi, But most show a countdown clock of commercial length.

My latest exploration is the new Beta Discovery function added in PLEX. It sees my home content and all the services I have on my fire stick and searches all for titles. I also have Netflix and PLEX sees Netflix content also.
