Anyone can do it with $250,000 in an account with a market maker, in the U.S. but.....it is extremely risky. Better to find stocks on the Nasdaq that are stinky , that you just know will eventually die, like CFON, and short it over $5. CIEN was a good one. I keep trying to get the magumbas up to short amazon.com, but no one is in their right mind with that stock. I especially like fad restaurants. They seldom last.
