As always George, you're a good read.

I just wanted to add my 2 cents. I am very disappointed with the decision to buy back shares. I think it is once again a sign of management throwing in the towel and saying they can think of no better way to increase eps then decrease the denominator.

I don't invest to see cash used to break even. It's sad to see going that way at a time when the "current thinking" is against such strategies.

I'm hoping we have some great secrets about to pop in the area of notebooks. (my read of the industry is that that will be the next wave of corporate spending).

I think Alpha continues to suffer from NT 4.0 instability and the distrust of the platform to meld seamlessly. NT 5.0 (after the moaning and groaning from the poor souls whose job it will be to do the upgrades, may address that, but that is a year 98 or beyond issue.

For now, I still feel we are as likely to see 30 as 50, and have a strategy for each.

Happy hunting.
