You are overlooking something real obvious---the beginning of the QTR We saw very clearly institutions dumping the stock and bringing it down into the 8 1/2 range in the first two days of the calendar quarter. Now we have the institutions (read analysts) buying into the stock a few days later on "news". The takeover rumor is next to impossible. Schmidt is not about to let this potential gold mine for his career slip into the hands of HP. There isn't anything those smucks could offer him that remotely approaches what he will have if he pulls off a Novell turnaround on HIS TERMS. What are they going to do without Schmidt, bring in John Young. (PF on the floor)
