Bought into NORANDA today at 14.70. Interesting to read
the comments on the thread. The price is nearly half of
what it was and the dividend is over 5%. Nickle is in
short supply. Technically, NOR has made a triple bottom
and after that the bottoms started to move up. A new
incline has begun. Whether it can be sustained is another
matter. Blue Line has a double buy on it.

The general word is that Can stocks are going to do well
in 2000 but that's going to depend in good part on Japan
and there are warning flags all over the place with the
Japanese economy. Impossible to call. Inflation or
deflation? No agreement anywhere, it seems.

BNN.A made 3.65 a share last year and is making money
hand over fist this year but its share price is going
nowhere. Company after company that is raking in the
dough is doing nothing share price wise. Because everyone
is hypnotized by the Internet stocks or because the
money managers are looking twelve months down the road
and seeing a bear market?

Anyone besides me buying NOR?
