McConnell, or anyone else with that view point won't get to your substantive points because he clearly believes, IMHO, one unconstitutional move doesn't justify another one--viewed through his legal prism of course.

Actually, we don't know that. What we do know, from his text, is that he failed to address the argument of using the approval process to render agencies inoperable. It would be interesting to see how he would address the substantive point. And whether the argument would ring as a partisan one (as this piece does because of the constant reiterating of the "unconstitutional" actions of the Obama administration; or whether it would actually register as a seriously legal one that could be argued about.

Instead, the entire document comes across as simply partisan. I thought it was well argued. But definitely not persuasive because of that.
