then again the Greeks only could come up with calculating the distance from the Earth to the moon ,
and off by some 500mis only...but they were a bit tribal too, but at least tolerant to some degree.

I would have loved to have been able to worship at the altar of the temple of Athena...now that was the most beautiful and majestic beautiful place in its time and talk about equal rights for Gods and Goddesses....and a high point for the pride of man.<g>

PS: But what good stories it made to tell ...writing stories is an exercise that does pay some dividends as with all the self fulfilling prophecies stolen or borrowed from before.
