Bud Day is a liar. I heard him interviewed on TV and they also had another POW who was at the same camp. The other POW contradicted everything Day said. Day, a big rightwing Bush supporter, claims (without evidence) that Kerry's anti-war activism hurt POW's. The other POW said he was in the same camp as Day and never heard of Kerry until years after the war. Neither were any POW's tortured or threatened that late in the war. They were treated well from 1970 on. Kerry's actions did help end the war sooner and did help bring the POW's back sooner. The rightwing tried these same type smears against McCain in 2000 calling him a traitor and coward who helped the enemy.
