Between you and Bill, I think I understand the importance of the server being at the company office. Someone asked me today who would integrate these products/services. Would it be someone like CSCO? When people talk about a complete solution, aren't they including the server? I certainly can't imagine MSFT building them nor GTE, either.

Clearly someone has to put it all together: Compaq, Bay, Cisco, ADC, SourceCom, Nortel, Microsoft, Amati . . . they all provide something.
BTW, you know the testing equipment the installers use to check that the system is working right? There's only one company that's making them for ADSL right now and that's Fluke Corp, out of Redmond, WA. (IBD featured them over a year ago and if I recall correctly they have good management.) It might be worth a look as another play on ADSL in general. I was told installers have had to hook up laptops to check the installed speeds until Fluke designed their gizmo.

Cheers!

Pat
