Philip, we are seeing the beginning of a real estate sector/stocks rally. Have you noticed how many real estate mutual funds (most are quite new) there are in Canada? Most of the big mututal fund companies offer a real real estate fund. These are hot, hot, hot. There aren't many stocks in the market they can buy, no wonder all the real estate stocks are going up (well, perhaps except Revenue Property).
