 NLP situation?
 A deal will be done, getting the litigation over will serve all parties.
 Does it mean that the shareholder interests
 in IOT, TCI, and CMETS will be better safeguarded as well?
 It will not affect this reits, it is only between ARB and NLP.
 These REITs are underpriced.  Depending on how good the properties can be turned around, sold and new 2nd class properties are bought
 and turned around will depend on the upside.  However the Phillips team are whores and they will make a lot of money trying.  If successful, you know his record, you will also make a good return.
 Having said that, i am not selling at this time.
 
 
 
 Why is ARB listed with a such a low reported book value,
 but rumored to control huge assets?
 Read their 10k(filed today) and you will have all your answers.  You will get a lesson in creative financing, wheeling and dealing and more than you ever wanted to know about real estate deals. If you can figure out how underpriced this security is, please let us know.(and yes they do have their fingers in every piece of the pie for each deal--that in my definition of a whore)
 
 And why does NLP have a negative book value?
 Based on cost accounting, depreciation and the age of the buildings.  If after reading that long article and these facts you still don't understand, i suggest you look to invest elsewhere.
 But are the properties worth more than their carrying values? YES,
 how much--good question!
