About a week ago Merrill changed not their ratings (outlook) for most of these companies, but their forward valuation ratios, instead of 20-25 pe, down to 15-18 as I recall. Thus all of them in the semi area were "devalued" on the pe basis. They said this was due to market uncertainties, current outlook, blah blah etc. Covering your a** is what I call it.
