Jeff and Terry, I agree there may be some strong upside action this week.I stopped in at Gurnee Mills this week-end as I was up at the Chain of Lakes and they are getting cranked up for the opening.I was very impressed for the following reasons: 1) The final construction and preparations are open to the public eye.The snake and the crocidile are going (this was on Saturday) and there are bird handlers with exotic birds talking to a crowd of onlookers while others are lookiing at the video about the Rainforest and others still are just gawking at the flurry of activity of the staff and workers or the impressiveness of the Cafe itself.It's not even open and it seems to be dominating the mall. 2)I talked to a trainor for a while and he introduced me to Steven Schussler,the obsessed genius that invented and developed the Rainforest in his own home.He gave me his card and an invitation to a May 30th preview and sampling of the menu.The Rainforest people carry themselves very confidently but still have time to talk with the small investor and I think that's a good sign.They also know how to promote something and I think these previews are going on all week. An adjacent store owner told me she was invited for May 29th.She also told me that everyone raves about the food at Schamburg . 3)My 3 year old daughter and my fiancee's 7 year old son were both very impressed with the Rainforest.And this is from the outside with only a couple of the animals operating,no mist,no outside waterfalls,no thunder and lightning every 20 minutes,etc. 4)The trainor said as soon as this one opened he was off to Orlando.I can imagine the curious masses there. So I think the major HYPE has already begun and RAIN can live up to it.I'll know for sure Thursday.But I'm confident enough to buy some more stock tomorrow if it dosn't take off at the opening Dennis P.S.Jeff,I admire your commitment and dedication to teach youth about the.great outdoors. I'll stick to leading safaris in the blackboard jungle however.(teacher)
